"I could probably supply a shop with all the paper I have collected over the years. I have been creating cards for over ten years and it is amazing to see everything that is now available for us to make such beautiful and meaningful projects.

What is your inspiration for making cards?

I think the best part of making my cards are the reactions I get from those that receive them. I love to see someone happy and when they get a handmade card they can tell a lot of myself has gone into it and it makes them feel special.

What kind of cards do you make the most?

That is really hard to say as I have done cards for every holiday and occasion. A lot of my cards are special request from clients with a suggestion of what they would like to see on the front of the card, I then run with their ideas as I see them. I think Christmas is one of my favorites, but I think my most favorite card to do is when I'm asked to "just put something together" in a particular color. It gives me a challenge which keeps my ideas fresh and new.

Why did you start making cards?

I started making cards over 12 years ago when I first got a computer. I just thought it was a fun idea and everyone liked getting a personal card. At that time all the cards were made by using graphics from the computer and printing out everything. Now since the scrapbooking world has grown into such a wonderful assortment of products there is no limit as to what can be used to make a card.

What are your favorite tools, supplies, etc..

Tools --This is a hard one as I don't us a lot of tools, I guess my two favorites would be my Paper Trimmer, there's no better way to get nice straight lines, and my Perfect Layers for doing perfect matting. I am also starting to collect the Techqunic Tuesday stamps and they are wonderful to use on any project.

Supplies --I would say my passion is paper, there isn't a spot in my craft room where there's not some sort of paper. Other favorites I have right now, yes this changes all the time, Prima Flowers, Distress Inks, Ribbon and yarns of all kinds and I'm starting to get back into stamping.

Technique --Right now, yes this changes all the time too, it would be adding a vintage look with Distress Inks and using the Prima flowers.

Best organization tip?

Well, if you could see into my craft room you would know I do try to be organized, but it always seems to get out of hand again in a very short time. A couple of things I have done that help I made ribbon holders from just everyday hangers and I have a wonderful organizer on my desk that hold round containers that I have filled with all kinds on embellishment. That keeps all my brads and such right a hand.

Your cardmaking Style?

I don't know if I really have a total style, but I think I do try and add a bit of vintage to almost everything I do.
